Michael, Maguire and Caymen visited Cottonwood this past weekend with great results!

Maguire entered his first race in the kid kart class. He ran a restricted motor with unrestricted competitors. His kart was slow off the line, but once up to speed, was only a 1 second slower than the other karts. In the 2nd heat Dad took out the restrictor(unbeknown to Mom) and he took off and passed two karts (one with a bump-n-run Nascar move) into second before getting high in the marbles and hitting the haybales. He was ok, just a little shaken. We then put his restrictor back in and he went on to race in the feature. We were very proud of his first time out!

Michael and Caymens class was broken up into two flights. Michael won all heat races and the feature with Caymen finishing a strong 2nd in each.

We all are looking forward to going back there this week for the MASN race!
